For Aandal holy marriage (thirukalyanam) the silk saree will come from Tirupathi Vishnu temple. Sathuragiri Shiva Temple

Pilgrims travelling from South have to pass through Nagercoil Tirunelveli Rajapalayam Srivilliputhur Watrap -Thaniparai. And an another way via Madurai (mattuthavani)-T.kallupatti -Anaikaraipatti(valai Thoppu) it is the main Entrance to reach the lord shiva temple front gate & on another way of thaniparai is the Sathuragiri or Chathuragiri Hills/Malai (Tamil for Hill) is situated 13-15 kms from Vathirairuppu (Watrap) near Srivilliputhur in Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu, India. Sathuragiri is the Abode of God and is also the abode of thousands of Siddhas including Agastiyar, Gorakkar, Satta Muni, Roma Devar and Sundranandar. It is believed that the Siddhas still worship Lord Shiva from Sathuragiri. So the hills are also known as Sivan Malai. The divine place Sathuragiri is surrounded by four hills, hence its name Sathuragiri or Chathuragiri. It is said that the name Sathuragiri is derived from the Sanskrit word Chathur meaning FOUR (4) (there are 4 Vedas and each one is represented by a hill) and the second part of the name, Giri meaning Hill. So it can be literally taken as a place where all four Vedas meet and merge into one. This is mentioned in Siva Puranam. The name also carries another meaning where the hills surrounding the place are in the shape of a Chathuram (Tamil for square) so the name Sathuragiri. Madavar Vilagam Vaidyanathar temple

Vaidyanathar temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Shiva located in Tamil Nadu, India. Shiva is worshipped as Vaidyanathar or the "God of healing" and it is believed that prayers to Vaitheeswaran can cure diseases A staunch devotee of lord Siva was living here with his devout wife. She was on the family way and it was time to deliver the child. She sent word to her mother for help. But she did not turn up, hence the lady started herself to the mother house. She developed labour pain on the way itself and loudly called the lord for help. The lord immediately appeared before her in the form of her mother herself and helped the delivery of the child. The woman was very Thirsty, the lord just made a line on the earth with his nail and the water sprang up. The lord said that the water would be the medicine for her pain and delivery wound. The lord in the form of her mother disappeared then. The real mother also arrived just then. The girl said that she had delivered the child safely because of her timely help. The mother was very much confused. The lord, with his consort Sivakami appeared before the mother and daughter and told them that he alone nursed her in time of need. The lord also said that as the spring healed her wounds and quenched her thirst, the stream would be known as Kayakudi Aaru.
